Firebirds Fan Zone Podcast

In our premier episode, we sit with Jason Hernandez, THE voice of Acrisure Arena for the Coachella Valley Firebirds and get our first look behind the scenes. How does someone become a PA announcer for a pro hockey team and what does it have to do with swing dancing?

In this episode, we sat with AHL off-ice official, Ed Heethius. We begin, as usual with his history and how he developed a life-long love of hockey and then we get a look behind the scenes at what the officials do for all of us! Best of all, we learn what we needed to know about our power play strategy.

This week, we sit with the Firebirds' Video Production Manager, Kyle D. K. Serra. How does he get those amazing shots we see on the big screen? What is it like behind the scenes with the team? How does someone even get a job like that? And just how big a fan is he? All that and much more!!

Our first episode!!! Join us as we interview and chat with the iconic voice of the Firebirds inside Acrisure Arena. We get to know Jason, his favorite hobbies, where he got his start, and his love of all things hockey. Of course, we take a deep dive into an amazing inaugural season.
