God is a good Father and, because of that fact, He will not release to us that which we have no structure to support. Therefore, God releases His word into us to build the structures that will support what He is sending our way.

God will always cause His fire to fall on the altar of our sacrifice, but it is our responsibility to keep the fire burning. Is the fire on your altar still burning? Are you tending to it day and night?

This message is a reminder that we are to keep the altar at the center of our lives. The altar is a place of sacrifice and obedience unto the Lord. It is the place where we meet God and are changed.

We need the Spirit of God to be BOTH in us and upon us. If we have one without the other, we miss the FULLNESS of His Spirit!

The Great Lion of the Tribe of Judah is not safe, but HE is Good! We do not choose to follow Jesus because He is the "safe" choice. We choose to follow Jesus because we have tasted and seen that He is good and because we believe He is the Bread of Life!

Our wants in life are birthed from our needs. I need food and water, but I want a cheeseburger and lemonade. Often, the things our flesh want can begin to override our needs and rearrange our values and priorities.

But, in the Kingdom, our needs should arrange our wants.

The enemy, who is the father of lies, always comes to us before breakthrough and attempts to convince us there is no resurrection breakthrough coming.

But resurrection breakthrough is real and it is available because Jesus was resurrected from the dead!

Whatever we are engaged with captures us. Therefore, the way to peace is to disengage with the constrictor and to become captured by the Father.
