Third culture kids and people of color often feel like they don't belong to the host country that they are living in. FireLit members Marny, Felix and CJ discuss with writers that participated in BIPOC Club's Creative Writing Challenge, Monique and Leena, the pieces they wrote that explain their struggles with how people see their skin or ethnicity. They are also joined by Selma, a council member of BIPOC Club.

Very frequently high schoolers do not get the 8 hours of sleep recommended by doctors because of our busy worlds. David, Felix and CJ discuss articles about sleep in literature and how doctors would give poetry to their patients experiencing 'demons' in their day to day lives. Make sure to take care of your health, and get some rest, because it is simply awesome. 

Millie introduces CJ and Phoebe to the book Period. End of Sentence. by Anita Diamant, about period poverty in rural India. They also talk about their own period stories, their challenges, viewpoints, and discuss what we all should be doing to break the taboo of simply mentioning 'periods'. The episode opens up issues on privacy, sexuality, and discrimination surrounding the issue of menstruation, and what privileges we have as well.

CJ, Felix, Gaurav, Leena and Patrick get deep on the word illusion. They talk about illusions from the atomic level, to a heavenly perspective.
