In this episode, we unpack our value of being "Bearers over Barriers". Rather than guarding Jesus and making sure people clean up before they go to him, or church, we want to be like the stretcher-bearers who brought their friend to the feet of Jesus. We don't want to let anything in ourselves be a barrier between someone and Jesus.

For this service, Andy sat down with his 96-year-old grandmother Virginia Rose Wilbur. Gram, as she is called, paved the way for many of the values that Fireside has. Her amazing stories filled with a true love for people and God inspired us all.

In this episode we took a deep dive into the value behind our sermon, “Contributors > Consumers.” While we value consuming good information, we want to be a church of contributors. This is an attitude shift more than anything. Church is not a place you attend, but rather a community of people that you are a part of. We want our church to be like Thanksgiving dinner, where everyone pitches in and everyone eats.
