  • 14 - Age Of War Of Popes And Rockets!
Beers, Dan, beers, beers, and Dan. As you've probably gathered Dave invited Dan over for beers and board games this week. Much fun was had and some new games were played. In this episode we discuss the competitive dice game Age of War, a surprisingly awesome wallet card game called Avignon: A Clash of Popes, and two new favourites - Blokus and Robots and Rockets.

  • 13 - Rocking A Virtual Galaxy!
Dave's joined, once again, by Andy to discuss mobile gaming, virtual reality and Rock Band/Guitar Hero. Listeners will be glad to know that Andy's audio's been fixed this episode too! So no more distortion when he gets excited! NOTE: Special glasses are NOT required to listen to this podcast.

  • 11 - The 'slightly Superior' Fireside! - Nova 111, Deathsmiles, Clash Royale, Euro Truck Sim, And More
This week I journeyed to the McLean household for a night of board games and podcast recording. If only I'd realised Nelle and Rans were usurpers in disguise with plans to take over the podcast... live and learn Dave, live and learn. At least there was a tasty cheese platter and we -did- discuss some games - Nova 111, Deathsmiles, Clash Royale and Euro Truck Simulator to be exact.

Hot on the heels of Another Dungeon's March Tabletop games day I am joined by Tim and Mark to discuss some of the games they played. We start by discussing XCOM The Board game, Tokaido, and The Castle of Mad King Ludwig then move onto video games to cover Assault Android Cactus, Star Dew Valley and Clash Royale... screw you Mark! I downloaded it after we talked about it and it's AWESOME!!! Now my phone can't hold battery for a full day!

  • 9 - The Darkest Firewatch Choices - Firewatch, Darkest Dungeon, Choices, And More
Last time he did a podcast at their house Amelia and Ben presented Dave with a delicious satay chicken. Great news! This episode is at their house again although, sadly, devoid of satay chicken. We talk about Firewatch (which Dave has now played but Ben's still not finished), Darkest Dungeon and the issues surrounding early access, then Choices - a choose your own adventure style mobile phone game that has Amelia enamoured.

  • 8 - Why Am I Friends With Tim And Noel Again? The Division, MS-DOS Game Library Online, Far Cry Primal, Magic (again), And More
Dave's joined by Tim Paterson and Noel Wheatley this week to discuss Tom Clancy's The Division, Far Cry Primal and, once again, Magic: The Gathering. Noel also tells us all about the MS-DOS Games Library Online - A flash based website that offers you the ability to play a bunch of old classics without having to install any software! Well... except a Java plugin and web browser I suppose.

  • 7 - Firewatch, Blades In The Dark, Magic: The Gathering, And More
Dave takes the fire on the road to visit Ben and Amelia in their home. This should be seen as a show of Dave's dedicated to the show and has NOTHING to do with offers of home cooked satay chicken before the show! Amelia and Ben share their experiences with Firewatch before explaining the idea behind John Harper's Blades in the Dark - an intriguing RPG with some truly ingenious mechanics! Dave then talks about Magic On Tap - A Magic: The Gathering event designed to introduce new players to the game while filling them with free beer!

  • 5 - A Whole Lotta Haldanes - Plants Vs Zombies, Minecraft, High School Story, Pet Nail Salon, And More
Dave is joined by his two eldest kids to talk about a variety of games... and a whole bunch of Plants vs Zombies. To be honest I think Indy could talk for 2 hours about Plants vs Zombies alone! Lily made a decent list though so she brings a little variety to the show :)
