In Romans 2:17-29, the Apostle Paul shares the importance of obeying God's law.   

In this passage, Paul explains how God gives righteousness to those who follow his commands and seek Him with a sincere heart.  

There's a common misconception that simply being born into a certain religious group or having external symbols of faith is enough for one to be saved.   

However, Paul clarifies that this isn't the case - our obedience and relationship with God matters more than anything else.

Sometimes when people feel judged, they say, "Only God can judge me!".   

Is that a good thing? Wouldn't you want to be warned about God's wrath? Wouldn't it be helpful to know that you may be headed down the wrong path?  

In Romans 2:1-16 the Apostle Paul shares some facts about God's judgment.

In Romans, the Apostle Paul goes out of his way to call out humanity and how we've chosen our own way instead of following God.   

In Romans 1:24-32 he gets very specific in calling out the various ways we have created idols in our lives. We must remember to turn away from sin and turn toward righteousness.
