Who makes up the church? Those who confess Jesus, those who follow Jesus and those who commit to a group of Jesus' people. Tim also talks about church discipline.

The church exists to display God's glory, to enjoy God's glory, to spread God's glory and to magnify God's glory.

This is the first in a series about the Church called Ekklesia. In this message Pastor Tim will talk about the fact that the church is 1) a people, 2) a body, 3) a temple, 4) a family, and 5) a bride.

Sometimes we think that our sins are so small that they do not matter. They matter to God. Our sin in a big deal with God. Just a small infection can be life threatening. Let's see what happened in the nation of Israel when they allowed sin to get out of hand.

This sermon and the next talk about how Israel goes their own way. This week's sermon talks about how Israel creates their own religion. Next week's sermon will talk about how Israel creates their own morality.

Christianity is about our weakness and God's strength. Samson had great physical strength but he was weak morally. Only as we depend on God will He give us his strength.

Samson was specifically given a ministry by God. Even though Samson did not act like a servant of God, God used Samson to accomplish His will.

God shows Samson's parents His grace by giving them a son. This son has was given a Nazirite vow by God even before he was born. Samson's father had a hard time believing the promise given to his wife until he saw the angel of the Lord.

As Christians we need to feed on the pure milk of the Word of God. If we have wrong relationships or wrong attitudes toward others, this can ruin our appetite for the Word. Reading God's Word will cause us to grow and mature in Him.

Dale Washlake looks at Psalm 23. Just as a shepherd takes care of his sheep, God will take care of us if we follow Him.
