In Daniel, chapter 3, King Nebuchadnezzar erects a statue and commands everyone to bow down and worship the golden image. Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego stand firm in their convictions and refuse to bow down and are thrown into the furnace of blazing fire trusting God will deliver them. The sovereignty of God once again is revealed to king Nebuchadnezzar and all peoples in his kingdom.

Following God's wisdom is demonstrated in how a person treats others.

King Nebuchadnezzar calls on the wise men of Babylon to not only interpret a dream but to tell him what dream he had. Daniel calls on God to reveal the dream and its interpretation, so God would receive the glory.

God provides direction to those who place their trust in Him. Russ Adams looks at Proverbs 2 and 3 in this weeks session in Explore the Bible curriculum.

The final lesson in our Systematic Theology class is on eschatology. Eschatology is the study of last things. Pastor Keith will describe the two major division of eschatology and then give an overview of the most popular eschatological systems.
