Wisdom or Folly?  This week we look at the Simple man who so easily will follow Folly’s ways.  Simple man rarely questions or looks beyond Folly.  If they did they would see the death Folly brings.  Vs. 9 “Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser” esv

For two weeks we have been hearing how to steer clear of Lady Folly.  This week, we see how Lady Wisdom is crying out in the streets for us to listen and follow.

The adulterous woman is calling out to you in the streets, lady folly is after your attention.  Will you listen to the sirens call or the sweeter song that wisdom is speaking to you?

Proverbs 6 is a very specific passage with a warning…..stay away from adultery!!  It never ends well and will destroy you and your family.  Listen with an open heart to this weeks message.

Proverbs provides wisdom for how to live honorably with you fellow man.  Here in Proverbs 6 this is laid out very well, but towards the end it reminds us of seven things that God hates.

This is a firm passage with a warning….stay away from the door!  Solomon bluntly warns his son, and everyone else, to stay away from adultery, and give yourself only to your spouse.

The way that Jesus walked was wisdom, as He was wisdom personified.  His way led to death on the cross.  At times the most obvious and less painful way may not be the way of wisdom.
