This is a wonderful message from Easter; how Christ can show mercy to all sinners, no matter how great.

Pastor Nathan leads us in a great message on Baptism and then baptising 6 believers, who later become members of our church!

Pastor Nathan Smith continues in the sermon series “Faith Matters”.  The goal is Love, as Paul states in this section of the letter to Timothy, and a key to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Faith Matters.  This is the first message in the new series that Pastor Nathan Smith will preach as he goes through the book of 1 Timothy.

Jesus gives solid guidelines for being His disciple, and uses the word “hate” in a specific way.  Listen as Pastor Nathan Smith closes his series on the Jesus Way in Luke, and gives great guidance for understanding this passage.

Jesus is inviting you to the table in this parable.  Will you come?  Then will you rest at His table, with His agenda, and then invite others?

Jesus gives the parable on the preparing a feast and who we need to invite; the Lame, Blind and Poor.  People who are in no position to pay us back.  Our ultimate reward will come from God, not people and if we humble ourselves we will be exalted.

Jesus heals again on the sabbath, a man who has dropsy,  and once again has a showdown with the religious leaders.  Again the question is asked that they would take better care of their possession, (donkey or ox), before helping someone in great need

“Strive to enter through the narrow door”, is what Jesus said in response to a question on those who would be saved.  Pastor Nathan will give that answer from this passage and speak also about the grace of God and all who are called to enter the door into the Kingdom of

Jesus continues on the way with the disciples and teaching/correcting in the synagogue.  We are reminded to align our lives with Christ, invite others into our lives and remember our hope.
