3. To drink the living water of salvation, bow before God on the heart level.

4. To drink the living water of salvation, believe in Christ for who He is.

Let's open our Bibles to Luke 18:1-8.

1. We ought to pray at all times.

2. We are prone to lose heart and to give up on prayer.

3. A main reason we lose heart in prayer is the delays in God's answers.

1. To be in God's kingdom, we must be personally related to God's King Jesus.

2. To be in God's future kingdom, we must faithfully await its consummation when Jesus returns in glory to judge everyone.

a. To be in God's future kingdom requires patient endurance in the present.

b. To be in God's future kingdom requires discernment in the present.

Let's open our Bibles to Luke 17:20-37.

God has blessed us more than we can imagine. We should not be oblivious to His blessings, or worse, taking credit for His blessings. Today we talk about how we should respond to God's blessings.

Let's open our Bibles to Luke 17:11-19.

When we encounter difficult commands in Scripture, our focus should not be on more faith. The idea of more faith exalts man, not God.

We put our faith in God because He has never failed. The Lord is trustworthy! We put our trust in Him, and it is no credit to us. All the glory goes to our great God!
