One of the best ways to have a positive impact on the world is to realize God's sovereign authority. Even when things don't go the way that we like, if we realize the sovereignty of God and that He is still in control, we can be at rest.

In this final sermon in our summer series on Theology, we see how in Psalm 18 (and 2 Samuel 22) how David, even in his time of difficulty when King Saul was pursuing him, was praising God for his deliverance as his loving, personal, mighty God.

2 Samuel 22 is practically identical to Psalm 18. And what a fitting way to end our Summer 2025 series on Theology, but to study these chapters that so accurately capture the essence of theology.

2nd Corinthians 5 mentions the love of Christ. There are two sides to that - our love for Him and His love for us. His love for us has many characteristics - intimate, personal, strong, active, etc. Our love for Him is what compels us to live for Him and not ourselves.
