From the Calvinistic / Reformed Theology perspective, Total Depravity leads to Unconditional Election, which leads to Limited Atonement. Each doctrine goes hand in hand in their philosophy. The truth is, if one chooses to believe in a Limited Atonement, they are not Bible believers! In order to believe this false doctrine, you must read that doctrine into the scriptures. There is not a single verse in the Bible that teaches in its proper context that the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross is limited to only the elect that God unconditionally chose before the foundation of the world.

Through the scriptures we will see that a Bible believer cannot believe in Calvinistic doctrine when they study the scriptures in context, comparing scripture with scripture, and following other basic rules of Bible study. This study lays the foundation for the written word of God, and specifically the King James Bible, as our final authority to help deal with these matters of false doctrine.

Before we get into the theological particulars of Calvinism / Reformed theology, we have to establish a few biblical standards and view some key moments from church history from the right perspective. God's heart as always been for the common man and to have a real, thriving relationship with the common man and common woman. Any person, doctrine, or system that stands in the way of this aspect of God's heart will find themselves in grave error.

Far too often theologians claim to have the Bible as their final authority when they really have other authorities to support their doctrines. If we really want to know what the Bible says, then it must be the Boss. Whatever it says, that is what we must believe!
