It is plain today that there is something very wrong with the world. With all of the negatives before our eyes every day in the news, it is natural to want to hear a different message that is positive and encouraging. But the Christian faith is more than simply being positive and encouraging and hoping for the best.

According to Paul, unless Christ is actually raised bodily from the dead, the Christian faith is completely worthless and powerless to save dying sinners in a dying world. But if Christ is raised, the gospel of Christ crucified is the power of God for salvation to all who believe.
