We have finally made it to the end of our study on the Sermon on the Mount. As exciting as that may be, we must not take Jesus' final words as easy, for they are hard, they are important. Jesus is still speaking to those who consider themselves religious. They are the ones who go to church and give, and they might even be in positions of leadership, but they do not have the right foundation. They have been deceived, either by a false teacher or themselves. Jesus warns us of empty hearts. We need to be doers of the Word of God and not hearers only.
