The Gospel Is Enough | Colossians 1:1–8
What if the thing we keep searching for is already ours in Christ?
As we begin our study through the book of Colossians, we are reminded that the gospel of Jesus Christ is enough. In a world that constantly tells us we need more success, more experiences, more knowledge, or something new to feel complete, Paul points the church back to Jesus.
Through faith, love, and hope, the gospel transforms lives and gives us everything we need. Our identity is found both in Christ and in the community where God has placed us, and our faith should be evident through the way we love and serve others.
This message challenges us to examine what we are trusting in and to return again and again to the supremacy, sufficiency, and glory of Jesus. In Christ, we are forgiven, reconciled to God, made new, complete, and truly alive.
The gospel is enough. Jesus is enough.
