Today, we will begin a journey through the Gospel of Matthew. We are going to stop at each of Jesus’ miracles or parables as we work our way through this book. There are almost 90 of them. Today, we will look at the birth of Jesus. In almost 50 years of ministry, this might be the first time I have preached on the birth of Jesus outside of December. But it is the first miracle in the Gospel of Matthew, so we will begin there. Today, we will study Matthew 1:16-24.

Dr. Ezell is the President of the North American Mission Board (NAMB). Since 2010, he has led this organization in carrying the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout North America and beyond. He and his wife, Lynette, have six children and eight grandchildren. Prior to serving as the President of NAMB, he pastored churches in Texas, Illinois, Tennessee, and Kentucky. In fact, one of his early pastorates was at the First Baptist Church of Hartsville, Tennessee.
