Mark 1:1-15

The drama of Christmas unfolds over time with clues written by God's hand in the words of the prophets. The hope of Christmas was given to God's people while they were living in the woes and throws of struggle through the prophet Micah. As we come to the place of hope's fulfillment, it is not merely the hopes of yesterday fulfilled, but it is the hope of our heart today. With the coming of Christ, Jesus comes to satisfy the longing of every human heart. It is a crescendo of God's amazing work of love in history. It is the fulfillment of what God promised to the world. We live in the land of shadows, but Christmas is all about the Savior who meets our needs. Jesus is the Light who shines upon us to help us and delivers us. It is the celebration of the Light of Hope, Jesus Christ. Micah 5:2-5
