We can use our eternal hope to encourage believers during present difficulties.

Let’s spend our lives for eternity regardless of any resultant suffering.

We must endure suffering if we are going to live godly lives.

Our joy should reflect our understanding of what God has done through our Savior, Jesus Christ.

God’s servants must remain useful by refraining from youthful impulses while striving to correct those heeding Satan’s schemes.
