How is it possible to have the peace of God in 2022 when I worry and I’m anxious about everything around me? In this sermon, we will look at Philippians 4:6-9 and Matthew 6:25-34 to learn how we can encounter the peace of God whenever we are tempted to worry or be anxious.
This Christmas series will look at the names of Jesus given in the prophecy of Isaiah 9:6. These names are names that will define who He is and what He will do. We find these in an Old Testament prophesy that was given some 700 years before the birth of Christ, in a time when there was a lot of turmoil and fear. This week we will look at the prophetic title of Jesus that he would be called the Prince of Peace.

In 1 Corinthians 11:23-34 the Apostle Paul gave instructions for how to celebrate the Lord’s Supper together. He explained the meaning of the bread and wine. Then he called for each person to make a spiritual evaluation of his/her own personal life before participation. (v. 28) In this sermon, I will call for us all to take an honest look at our lives before the Lord’s Supper is served based on what Paul wrote in Ephesians 4.
In 1 Timothy, we see how we should treat our pastors and their families.
