God communicated His love to the world through the blood of His son, Jesus Christ. As a church, we need to embrace every opportunity to share that love with others. It is our duty and our mission as individuals, and as a church!

As part of Christ’s church, you are part of something unstoppable. Jesus promised nothing short of this when he said “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). The Church cannot be held up or halted. It will only grow as it gathers more souls into the Kingdom for which it stands. May God increase our perspective and endurance as He builds his church and as His eternal Kingdom draws near.

The church is meant to serve Christ, who is the head of the body. There are many different types of church bodies and denominations. Where did the First Church of Christ come from? What exactly do we believe as a church?

The first church, described in Acts 2:42-47 is held up as an example for today's church to emulate. ALL the people were devoted to the worship of God, to the fellowship of one another, and to the spreading of the gospel of Christ. In order to emulate the first church, we need to be completely committed to the worship of the Lord together, be more involved in the lives of one another, and take every opportunity to study and live out God’s word. If we all commit ourselves to the task and trust in the Lord to strengthen and guide us, wonderful things will happen in our church, and in our lives.

Jesus is the risen King who is victorious over death, recognized by His disciples, validated by Scripture, and enthroned over all creation. That truth changes our faith, theology, and our practical living. The resurrection isn't just a doctrine to believe, but a truth that will change us, and give us hope.

The Bible is the Word of God - God reveals himself to us through His written word, and through Jesus Christ, the living word.

People are generally pretty forgetful, and God wants to remind us of his love. Communion is a reminder of who God is, and what He did for us. It is a time for believers to experience their relationships with Christ and with one another. We need to remember why we gather, why we sing, and why we have so much hope!

As Christians, we should be living our lives in the reality of what our baptism represents and symbolizes. We walk in the newness of life with Christ in us. And all of this is because of God’s grace, which we experience through faith.

When you are in a time of despair and pain, remember God knows what is happening. Your prayers in desperation will bring comfort, help, strength, and healing. Always remember that you are not alone. God has a plan for your life and He will fulfill it!
