Navigating breakups, faith, and your relationship with Jesus can be tough. After reading Mel Robbins book, "The Let Them Theory" I dove deeper into the understanding of accepting people for who they are and not causing more hurt to yourself by begging for love that can't be given. We want so badly to be loved by those we believe are meant for us but, what if we chose to accept those who have hurt us instead, and simply decide to love without expecting reciprocation?
In this first episode of the Holy & Honest podcast, I talk about navigating my very first relationship at 21 that I truly thought was blessed by God. See how I decided to approach the post-break up feelings and how I came out of something, that didn't serve me, feeling more like myself than I ever have before.
