A little life update, a lot of gratitude, and a reminder to slow down and let God lead. In this episode, I’m sharing about finding a new church community, growing in my relationship with the Lord, learning to surrender control, and trusting that what God has for me will come at the right time. From relationships and career decisions to faith and personal growth, this is a reminder that we don’t have to force what God is already working out. 🤍

This episode is all over the place but I just wanted to give you guys an update and speak on the Lord's love. There's a lot going on in my life right now but in the midst of it all I want to do my best to recognize the Lord's grace and love for me. God is good. God is gracious. God is forgiving and his love is unfailing.

Today's episode is a little bit different.

I remember when I was diving into my faith I didn't know how to pray. I didn't know how to talk to God or what that would look like. I forgot who told me this or where I saw this piece of advice but someone said to talk to God like a friend. So one night before bed, I was having a very deep conversation with God and decided to hit record. No script, no set plot for what to talk about. Just me and God having a conversation with you guys invited into it.

Some of the best talks I have with God are right before I go to bed, so what did I do? I filmed a podcast episode, real, authentic, in the moment, no planning.

In this episode, I open up about the desire for marriage and a godly relationship, the frustration of hitting dead ends, and the fear of not knowing what God has planned for my future. More than anything, this is a reminder that we don’t have to have our lives figured out—we just have to trust the One who does.

Maybe God’s plan looks different than ours. Maybe it’s exactly what we’ve hoped for, but even better. Either way, our job is to surrender, trust, and make the most of the life He’s given us right now.

Forgiveness is hard and it's not something that comes easily, especially if someone has deeply hurt us. However, when we look at the cross and see how Jesus was hurt, betrayed and murdered and STILL chose to forgive his betrayers, that shows us how we need to start making it easy to forgive others in order to move forward. That doesn't mean it still won't affect us or that you have to continue respect someone who doesn't deserve your respect.

"forgive one another, just as in Christ God forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32).

As for settling for the bare minimum, I'll get all into that in this podcast. Never settle for what God doesn't have in his plan for you. Trust Him and he'll show you the ropes.

In this episode I discuss the importance of inviting God into your every day life and every moment, dealing with patience and accepting that we won't always be right. We weren't' made perfect but we were made that so that God can perfect us in the making of our time here on earth. Stay humble and follow God through all phases of your life.

Sometimes when we fail or mess up, we feel as though we need to earn back God's love for where we fell short. We have to punish ourselves and we end up convincing ourselves that God is angry with so we must do something to make him love us again. What if I told you that he has never stopped loving you? Even after you've gossiped, cursed, lied, were involved in sexual immorality, etc. He has loved you through every single mess up because he's our Father.

Reality TV plays a huge role in how our character and hearts are negatively affected. We become involved in these strangers lives to feed into our flesh for judging their character and actions when we have no authority to judge. Its okay to watch these certain types of shows for some people and others its more difficult so they stay away in order to not be tempted in gossiping, lust, harsh language and using your tongue to bash those on these shows. None of us are perfect and we all fall short so instead of speaking unkind truths, spread the love of Jesus and pray for them. Focus on your own path and quit trying to stumble upon someone else'.s

Have you ever felt like it was your mission or duty to change someone in their wrong doings and ways? Has it ever felt frustrating seeing someone being led on the path to hell instead of righteousness so you felt like you needed to step in and control the way they're acting or change the situation? What if I told you the pressure and weight doesn't lie on you but rather it's in God's hands? You don't need to control anyone, you don't even have the authority to do so, only God can transform his children. You can inspire and encourage others but at the end of the day you're not going to be able to convince or change anyone. It's up to others if they want to be led down the path of righteousness and holiness.

Have you ever felt like God wasn't answering your prayers? Maybe you've been extra impatient and desperate for the desires on your heart to come true and be blessed by God but it hasn't happened yet?

God stays true to his promises. he's never late or early. He's always on time. Ask God to correct your heart posture to stay focused on his wonderful and beautiful gifts that he has planned for you. The longer the wait, the bigger the blessing, God hasn't and will never fail you.

The waiting season can be unbearable, uncomfortable and frustrating. Trust me, I get it. I've been down this road more times than I can count. However, after the season is over I'm able to see the fruits that God bore inside of me, allowing me to transform into the person he has called me to be. The patience, the trials, the challenges; they all are apart of the process of sanctification Today's episode is simply an expression of gratitude for where I'm currently at in my walk with Christ and why God is so unbelievably good. .
