Good Friday Service

Palm Sunday is the celebration of Christ's entry into Jerusalem at the start of the Passover week.  What did that mean?  What was Jesus' attitude toward God and others at that time?  A Christian is a “little Christ” in the sense we're meant to be “Christ-like.”  That includes our attitudes too.  How does that all come together in our lives today?  Join us!

News can be wonderful, but we hear or experience the gloomy side of things too.  Biblical accounts of coming end-time events are gloomy but in the gloom the light of Christ shines very brightly and at the end only holy glory remains!  How does that play out?  More importantly, how do we live faithfully for Christ with real hope in our hearts through it all?  Join us!

How can we have an effective, impactful conversation with God?  Daniel knew how.  Join us as we converse with God together!

Living Alertly for Christ is not just a “keep your eyes open” for moments when you need the Lord or you see the Lord act in some way, but a lifestyle that commits everything you are and do for the Lord's sake until Jesus returns.  In the darkest of times, this is NOT easy to do!  In the best of times, this is NOT easy to do either!!  Join us and find out how we can live alertly for Christ.

When times are really tough, and we're emotionally feeling gloomy about life or world events, God gives us every reason to be hopeful and joyful through the means of his revelations to us (apocalyptic texts).  In those passages, like Daniel 7, God parts the curtains of human suffering revealing the cosmic battles involved and God's ultimate victory in Jesus Christ (v. 13 is awesome!).  Join us!

Daniel was tossed into a den of lions with no way out apart from God's will and might to save him from death.  The king was in anguish all night about this.  How is your faith?  How do you face suffering and even death itself?  Can God save you and if so, how and when?  Join us!
