Moses initially ordered the Israelites to bring offerings, but the people's contributions were so plentiful that Moses had to restrain them, telling them to stop because they had more than enough. This demonstrates the Israelites' willingness to go above and beyond, even to the point of being asked to hold back. Do you realize how fortunate you are in "getting to give?"
