In this fifth and final episode, Pastor Ken shared with us all about the significance of the table, far beyond just a place to eat meals, by showing how God wants to bring us all around His great table and share life intimately with us. So whether we are strangers, friends, or in a place of hopelessness, Jesus extends an invitation to join Him.
In this fourth episode, Pastor Jackson continues the message series by talking about the fourth step, discovering purpose and becoming a Difference Maker. He shared with us that in the Kingdom of God, everyone has the opportunity to discover their purpose while using their gifts to bring people to Christ.
Trained > Deployed
In this third teaching, Pastor Ken continues the series by talking about the third step, going from freed to trained. He shared with us the role and function of the Holy Spirit in our lives and showed us the difference between the gift of the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the Spirit. He also encouraged and gave tangible steps on how we can strengthen the presence of the Holy Spirit in our own lives.
Freed > Trained
In this second message, Pastor Jackson continues the series by talking about the second step, going from found to free. In his words, "It is working through old habits of thinking, old habits of living, and really living the life that God has designed us to live." He showed us how to proactively seek community, move from theory to action, and how to give up the false identities that many of us have been living in.
Found > Free
In this first message, Pastor Ken teaches us the ULTIMATE goal of the Christian faith. This goal, or mission, can be found in Scripture (Luke) where it says, "For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost." He showed us that just as Christ was passionate about saving lost souls, we should be too!
