We all know that people come and people go. As followers of Jesus, we are called to be stewards of God's gifts and to share them with people who are coming and going in our midst. It is especially true when we wonder about how we will pass on our faith to the next generation. This week we explore exactly how to do that.

We have all heard the empty platitudes about things being darkest before the dawn. When people are in a place of hopelessness, these platitudes offer little comfort and, worse yet, are just bad theology. Sometimes our faith is built upon how we lean into hopelessness.
