David's life vision is stated in Psalm 27:4. He lived from this "One Thing" and used his resources to build a context where an entire nation could dwell, gaze, and inquire with him. This context became the model for the New Testament Church. David's life is a picture of what God wants to release by the Spirit on leaders and the end-time church. We want to be a people who are present with God, preoccupied with His beauty, and in constant conversation with Him.
