The legislation also would provide $130 billion to primary and secondary schools and $40 billion to colleges and universities, intended to provide protective equipment, improve ventilation and help schools reopen after a year of forced closures. It will allocate $50 billion to the Federal Emergency Management Agency to boost vaccine distribution and help support struggling families across the country, and send $49 billion for testing and tracing.
