On Thursday’s First Light, Iran and the US have hit pause on escalating tensions between the two countries.  Iranians are taking a wait and see attitude towards the Trump administration.  Kevin Carr reviews the new comedy “Like A Boss”.  Camila Bernal updates Michael on the earthquake aftermath in Puerto Rico.  And how are the tensions in the Middle East affecting families? Michael talks to Sabrina Johnannes,  who advocates for the spouses and children of troops.

On Wednesday’s First Light, Iran strikes back at the United States and  is calling it revenge for the U.S. killing of Revolutionary Guard Gen. Qassem Soleimani. Iran fired a series of ballistic missiles at two military bases in Iraq housing American troops.  Michael talks to military journalist Tara Copp about the deployment of U.S. troops  in the Middle East.

On Tuesday’s First Light, former White House national security adviser John Bolton says he is "prepared to testify" if he is subpoenaed by the Senate in the impeachment trial of President Trump.  Congress expects to be briefed Wednesday on the killing of  Iran's top general, nearly a week after President Trump's ordered it.  Kevin Carr reviews the new thriller “The Grudge”.
