In Luke 12 Jesus told a parable of a man who was blessed with a large harvest. The man did not remember that it was God who gave him the harvest. Instead, he decided to hoard it for himself. Later, this man would lose everything. Because none of his harvests could preserve his life, he was considered a fool.
