To cap off the spookiest October of all time, Pete and Trevor watched Tobe Hooper’s 1974 classic The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. It was Pete’s first introduction to the film and the chainsaw franchise. It’s Firstlooktober, which means it’s time to revisit a classic horror film. This week Pete and Trevor enter the realm of Freddy Krueger in Wes Craven’s A Nightmare on Elm Street (Heather Langenkamp, Johnny Depp in his first film role, and Robert Englund as Freddy). The guys also discuss the Nightmare franchise, their favourite slashers, and movies that traumatized them as kids.
