Rebekah Layton delves into Revelation 4 and 5, focusing on Jesus' worthiness to open the scroll and the transformative power of worship during the end times. She encourages believers to passionately praise and sacrifice for God, emphasizing the necessity of heartfelt worship and the joy it brings. Layton highlights the biblical call to rejoice and express that joy through physical movement, asserting that responding to God's word through worship, obedience, and personal sacrifice is vital for deepening one's faith and connection with God.
In this message, Shane Farmer stresses the importance of moving beyond a passive, defensive approach to prayer, advocating for a proactive stance in combating darkness and advancing God’s kingdom. Drawing from the concept of Christians as soldiers in God's army, he challenges the church to adopt a "hunter" mentality, focusing on outreach and transformation rather than self-preservation. Farmer underscores the necessity of living a Spirit-filled life and engaging in offensive prayer to combat spiritual challenges, foster revival, and see God’s kingdom move forward. The message concludes with a call to shift from survival mode to "Attack Mode" in spiritual warfare, embracing divine assignments and prayer for revival and global transformation.
In this sermon, Pastor Shane highlights the similarity between the descriptions of Jesus in Daniel 10:5-6 and Revelation 1, emphasizing His holiness and majesty. He contrasts the six days of creation in Genesis with the six days of de-creation and new creation in Revelation 21:1-4, where God restores all things. Those in heaven see things rightly, recognizing Jesus as the holy and worthy one, while those who reject God align with the prideful chorus of hell, elevating human worth above God's. Pastor Shane challenges us to reflect on our worship: True worship comes from acknowledging God's supreme worth.
At the conclusion of each letter to the seven churches in Revelation, Jesus offers a powerful exhortation: "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." But what does it truly mean to "have an ear to hear"? Pastor Shane reveals that"having ears to hear what the Spirit says is 90% about our interpretation of His intention." Join us to discover how we can deepen our spiritual listening and respond to the Spirit’s guidance today.
The church in Ephesus seemed to have it all—sound doctrine, discernment, good deeds, and perseverance—but risked losing their lampstand because they neglected their first love. Jesus, who walks among the churches, reminds them that their relationship with Him must be central; doctrine and actions need to be driven by love and a desire for His presence. Without this connection, even strong beliefs can lead to spiritual lifelessness and self-righteousness. True worship, which expresses love and adoration, is often missing in churches focused solely on doctrine. Without His presence, they risk becoming mere gatherings devoid of spiritual life, just like the bridesmaids who ran out of oil and were denied entry to the wedding feast.
Pastor Shane dives into the importance of being in the Word of God daily or almost daily. We are called to be a people who seek God in His Word daily, and a people who obey God’s Word fully, not picking and parceling out parts and pieces. We are committed to preaching the full counsel of God’s Word in church, not just the palatable parts or culturally accepted scriptures.
“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.” Psalms 1:1-3
Jesus says to the church of Laodicea, "I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. So neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth." Revelation 3:15-16 Learn from Moses George how to grow in passion towards Jesus and become His spotless bride.
It's easy to trust God when things are going well, but what then if your security is gone? We learn from Pastor Brandon that dependency on God and obedience to God go hand in hand.
Join us for an in-depth look at two of our values:
