Pentecost reminds us that the Christian faith is not built on human strength, but on the work of the Holy Spirit.

The most important aspect for an Easter Faith is this:  having a faith to "Live as One"! This is why Jesus came, suffered,died,rose, and sent the Holy Spirit. He did it all to reconcile us to His Father and to us and each other.

An Easter Faith is where dead things come alive. It's when we have a faith that receives the help of the Holy Spirit.

How is an Easter faith also a faith to do what Jesus did?

Faith to believe again, because that's where the disciples were. Their hopes were dashed. Everything went bad when Jesus died on the cross. Then, he rose, they had to have faith to believe that it was Him, that it was real, that everything Jesus said was true.

Pride prevents us from receiving the grace and gifts that God wants to give us.

Death does not have the final say.
