First Person

What restaurants do you need to check out in DC? Josh tells you this week between songs from The So So Glos, Freelance Whales, and Tegan and Sara.

The CMJ Music Marathon is upon us and with so much new music being shared in real time, Josh is hear to bring it to us over the airwaves. Hear JJAMZ, Two Door Cinema Club, and more this week.

This week Josh shares some independent film suggestions along with music from Strange Talk, Generationals, Lord Huron, and more.

There’s no shame is saying no when you don’t know of a band, and Josh is the first to say it. To get you into the habit, he’s sharing a bunch of songs you probably don’t remember from the 90s—but you’re totally gonna love ‘em now.

Josh has been staying in the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston, rooming with Frankie, and eating good food this week and it’s clearly inspired even more good tunes. Hear Foxtrot, Tegan and Sara, and King Fantastic on the latest episode.

We’re getting in touch with Troublemaker again when he calls into this week’s First Person. He and Josh hang out while playing songs from Ace Hood, Smylez, and Lil Durk.

100 episodes of First Person have come and gone and it’s time to party. Josh is giving song shout outs to all his friends and making the 100th episode the best yet with songs from The Virgins, Frank Ocean, and Ghostface Killah.

Have you been to any good shows lately? Josh wants to know while playing you songs from Shiny Toy Guns, Ellie Goulding, Twin Sister, and more.
