First Person

This week we’re hearing some of Josh’s new favorite tracks and even finding some of our own. Catch fun., Friends, Emil & Friends, Now & Now, Mattie Safer and more!

Josh has been around the globe lately between parties, fashion week, and generally living his best life. Now he’s giving us our best lives by serving up tracks from Walk The Earth, The Knocks, and Adele.

Happy Rob Thomas’ Birthday (otherwise known as Valentine’s day)! Josh won’t play Rob Thomas during this episode of First Person, but we will play some makeout worthy jams from Benny King, The Replacements, Smoking Popes, and more.

A lot has transpired since the last First Person, including a bicycle accident that inspired the theme of this week’s playlist. Mark Ronson, Taking Back Sunday, and Foghat are rocking FP.

We’re throwing it back to the best Billboard chart year (in Josh’s opinion). It’s 1992, the clothes are horrendous, the internet is slow, and House of Pain and U2 are dominating your headphones. All in all, it was a pretty dope time.

Mandy Lee curated the playlist for this show and we have to say, she did really well. Catch Local Natives, J Cole, and Tune-Yards between conversations about piano stores and Hanson posters.

Josh is stoked on A$AP Rocky’s new album and once you hear the latest episode of First Person, you will be too. Not to mention we’ll hear new tracks from Sun City, Cold War Kids, and Gentleman Hall. It’s almost too much our music loving hearts to handle.

It’s time to talk sexy men, vegetarianism, and Tumblr. As if that wasn’t enough, Josh will also be playing songs from Albert Hammond Jr, Birdy, and more. Swoon.

Josh’s celebrity crush is revealed on the latest episode on First Person. Can you guess who it is? Plus, Imagine Dragons, Walk The Moon, and Django Django play.

Hey young world, it’s time for First Person and this week we’re really in for a treat. Josh is DJing live on idobi Radio airwaves and things are about to get poppin’. Catch Cobra Starship, Machine Gun Kelly, Sia and more.
