First Pitch - Daily MLB Recap

The Boston Red Sox have reportedly offered Juan Soto a $625M contract, while New York Mets owner Steve Cohen has reportedly said he'd beat any contract offer by $50M. Could Juan Soto's final contract end up being bigger than Shohei Ohtani's heavily-deferred $700M?

The Los Angeles Dodgers have the best pitching rotation in baseball. If getting Shohei Ohtani back from injury wasn't enough, the team went out and signed Two-Time Cy Young winner Blake Snell to a 5 year deal on Tuesday night. Is the best team in the MLB from last season bound to go back to back in 2025?

Snell will now play with his fourth team in Major League Baseball and his third within the National League West. (Tampa Bay Ray, San Diego Padres, San Fransisco Giants)

This year's Rookie of the Year races could go a lot of different directions, but it's clear that the National League crew is much better than the American League crop

Los Angeles Dodgers DH Shohei Ohtani absolutely racked up the wins at last night's All-MLB Team Award show. Who did, and didn't, deserve their honors?

There's quite a few top-tier free agents behind Juan Soto, but not a lot of agreement about which one is the best.
