First Pitch Strike

Ethan and Aaron are joined by Joshua Morelion and Michael Flores from the SIA Network and RJ Prince, one of Ethan’s former teammates. We dive right in and predict not just division winners and a World Series Champ, but we also give you a few end of season awards.

Spring Training is in full swing. Tatis Jr, DeGrom and Giolito look like they’re ready to start the season. Aaron and Ethan discuss their performances, highlight the starting rotations of the Dodgers, Padres and Mets and spend way too much time talking about Daniel Vogelbach. Ethan also shares his love of defense and Aaron uses Yadier Molina as the example of defense. Finally, we also wish Tony Wolters a better eye at the plate.

With the beginning of the spring games, Aaron and Ethan highlight the good of what they’ve seen so far. What prospects are making it hard on teams to send them to the minors/alternate camp. They touch on Kevin Mather and his remarks as well as welcoming back two cancer survivors.

Spring Training is finally here! We discuss the excitement that is Spring Training, what we’re looking forward to and ask a few questions about historical scenarios. And there are 3 “Don’t Be Stupid” winners this week.

Today the Casey’s dive into the Nolan Arenado trade, Trevor Bauer signing and should MLB players skip the line for a COVID vaccination? Also, the introduction of the “Don’t Be Stupid” weekly award.

Josh Morelion from Drive Thru Review joins the discussion. Another, “Don’t Be Stupid,” moment that the Mets took immediate action on. Hot Stove league heating up and what’s gonna happen with AZ Cactus League.

Aaron and Ethan review the recent trades and how they impact the teams involved. What’s better - mortgaging the future or dealing to win now? And a little love to Tommy.

A new year brings resolutions and goals. Better hitting; better pitching; more home runs; fewer home runs; more wins, more Joe Kelly faces and whip cream. No topic is taboo; some topics revisited; all topics brought some laughs.

The Casey Boys return from an extended Christmas Break with highlights from the year that was 2020. COVID didn’t ruin everything, just most things. But, COVID did give us great things like the Marlins, Rays, 7 inning double headers and Joe Kelly’s pouty face.

Ethan returns to the show and discusses players of days gone by that he would have loved to have seen play. Aaron chimes in with some of his favorites growing up and ones he would have loved to have seen himself. Today's players get some love too.
