We live in a world of divided loyalties where we make promises to be faithful to our God, our country, our family, and our Church. Sometimes we can do it all but sometimes we cannot. This week we explore how Paul's letter to the Romans helps us understand what to do in a world of divided loyalties.

On July 7 we gathered to stand as witnesses to the resurrection of long-time member HP Forbes. The homily was based on Matthew 25:31-40 and drawn, in part, from a sermon that he gave at FPC in 2009.

Paul writes to the Galatians and says that "the Fruit of the Spirit is... self-control" (Galatians 5:22-25). What is self-control and what does it mean to practice it in the Church? This weeks sermon asks that question as we come to the end of our series on the Fruit of the Spirit.
