Spoudazó! (Greek: σπουδάζω) Now that's a fun word to say. It's actually the Greek word for diligence and it means 'to make haste or to exert oneself'. In Peter's second letter, he exhorts believers to be diligent in their Christian growth. Who's your enemy? If you think about it, every battle is a spiritual battle - and every thing is a spiritual thing. We can't lose sight of the big picture that we are in a spiritual war.  Today, we'll focus on God's unfailing grace and how God moved Peter to maturity even through failure. It's a wonderful truth for your life as well. God's unfailing grace moves YOU to Christian maturity. Listen in and learn how God can take your failure and with His unfailing grace grow you in your faith. 

You're such a failure. Those words can cut deep. But the reality is  life is full of failure. If anyone felt the blow of failure, it was Peter. Peter claimed he would never deny Jesus - but he failed miserably.

I wonder whether you've ever been there? Well, in today's episode, I want to encourage you to know that failure isn't final with God's unfailing grace.

One of the most difficult burdens of being a pastor is watching people drop out of the church and away from the Lord. If there's one thing that's needed for the church in a world of disharmony, it's unity. Unity is the fragrance of God's grace for His church in a polluted world. Every believe should seek to live in unity for the sake of the gospel.
