As we continue our Lenten journey with Jesus, our focus pivots from Jesus as Pain Breaker to Jesus as Pain Taker. This Sunday, Pastor Tim explores the Parable of the Wicked Tenants (Luke 20:9-19) as an example of Jesus’ understanding of his role in God’s redemptive work.

Pastor Mark will preach on the New Testament book of 2 John with a message entitled, “Closing Time”.

Pastor Tim continues the Pain Breaker series with a presentation on Luke 18:35-43, where we will journey with Jesus into the city of Jericho: witnessing God’s power in the life of a blind beggar.

Pastor Mark will preach on the New Testament book of Philemon, with a message entitled, “Philemon: A Story of Law and Grace”.

Pastor Tim continues the Pain Breaker series with a presentation on Luke 8:26-38, where Jesus ministers to a man who was tormented by a Legion of demons.

Tom Smith talks about how following Jesus takes us on an adventure into a new life.

Pastor Tim begins our Lent teaching series, Pain Breaker, by exploring the encounter between Jesus and the crippled woman in Luke 13:10-17. This message will think about the relationship between physical and spiritual pain and how the world is changed with every healing touch Jesus offers.

During this season of Lent, Pastor Tim will be leading us about Jesus and people who experience life-pain. As a prelude to that study, Sunday’s message will look at Luke 4 & 5 and observe Jesus as a man of solitude and bravery in the face of temptation.

Our long-anticipated Old-Fashioned Hymn Sing is here! We will have a wonderful evening of “golden oldies”, and an encouraging message from Pastor Steve Breen, based on the hymn, “Great is Thy Faithfulness”.
