Scott Dahlgren is the police chief in Norwalk after being named to the top job last November.

He's been with the department for over 16 years now.

Norwalk is hosting their first annual National Night Out event on August 6th; an event to help strengthen police and community relations.

Our Marblehead Soap Company First Responder of the Week is Curt Cochran from the Port Clinton Police Department.

Curt was recently named the 2024 Kiwanis Club Police Officer of the Year.

He's a five-year veteran of the Port Clinton PD and a school resource officer.

Erie County Sheriff Paul Sigsworth was nominated because of being a great leader, hard worker and an excellent representation of law enforcement in the area.

Sergeant Mitchell Cawrse of the Huron County Sheriff's Office recently help apprehend a suspect who had broken into a stranger's hotel room in Norwalk.

Our First Responder of the Week is Carson Sparks from the Norwalk Fire Department.

Sparks recently won a gold medal at the United States Power-lifting Association's Nationals in Las Vegas.
