Dannielle: "My son is a volunteer firefighter & not to many volunteers firefighters are recognized. He is proud & will drop everything & from anywhere to respond. He continues to educate himself and is very involved when it comes to being a first responder. He is proud to be 1 & his family is proud & supportive. I am a very proud mom of a wonderful son & a firefighter!!"
Emily: "Always willing to help someone in need on the side of the road or in a medical emergency."

CONGRATULATIONS! to Sgt. Marty Curran, Perkins Police Department, this week's K96/Marblehead Soap Company First Responder of the Week!
Marty was nominated by Stephanie and she had this to say: "Sgt. Curran has dedicated his career (which started in 2005) to going above and beyond in serving his community, and the officers who work under him. Sgt. Curran often volunteers his time to organize events such as the PPD diaper drive which was held last week (recently) at Walmart. This event generated numerous donations which were given to local charities. The event would not have been possible without Sgt. Curran. In addition, Sgt. Curran cares about his officers. He was given the award of officer of the year last year. This award is the most prestigious an officer can receive and is based on votes by fellow officers. Sgt. Curran is an asset to our community and should be recognized for his efforts
