In this sermon, we look at the the women included in genealogy of Christ, which is significant because in those days women usually weren't factored in regarding family inheritance. The first woman addressed is Rahab of Jericho and how she was instrumental in Israel's taking of the land God had given them.

We are to bear one another's burdens fulfilling the law of Christ ("Love one another as I have loved you")

If we seek to earn our salvation by obeying the law, then we must obey the entire law perfectly. None of us can do this. Of human beings, only one, Jesus, has done so. Through faith in Him, we receive freedom, not do do whatever we want, but to do what we should: love God and love our neighbors.

God sent his Son to redeem us from slavery to sin, so that we might be adopted as sons of God. All of us; as in Christ there is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female. As sons, we are heirs of God.
