After Antioch in Galatia, Paul and Barnabas travel to Iconium, where they again preach in the synagogue. Many Jews and Gentiles believed, but those who wouldn't opposed them.
They stayed for some time, but left when a plot against them was discovered. They traveled to Lystra, where God healed a lame man. Jews from Antioch and Iconium stoned Paul at Lystra, but he survived and they went to Derbe, preaching the Gospel all the while. They then retraced their steps to Antioch in Syria, encouraging the churches and appointing elders as they went.
