On this week's episode of the pod, the boys talk all things Promising Young Woman! The recent Oscar and BAFTA winner was a real standout for us and the chat this week was wonderful, if we do say so ourselves.
On another note, on this episode Liam makes reference to some great articles read by the boys - check the links below to read some of these pieces.

Hello and welcome back to the First Take Film Club podcast.

After a week away from the mic we are so happy to be back and this is the perfect movie to discuss.

Hello and welcome back to the First Take Film Club. This week, we're talking about one of Amazon Prime's latest exclusive's: Palm Springs.
Dive into our take on the latest time-travel movie to hit the small screen, and hear us discuss what we loved - and what we didn't - about this feel-good movie of the spring.
As a bonus discussion, we also chat about where we see streaming services in the grand food-chain of film, and whether we think that there is a place for them in saving small-budget movies like this.
As always, remember to subscribe and tell your friends, and follow us on socials (@firsttakepod).
Enjoy! x
We simply are not there...
Only kidding, of course we're bloody here - here being your podcast provider of choice - and instead of being a manic, sociopathic serial killer (or not?), we're coming at you with a lovely episode on Mary Hannon's classic, American Psycho. This movie asks so many questions, and we do our best to decipher most of them on this wonderful little episode, so if you like that sort of stuff, you're in for a real treat!
Now, if you'll excuse us, we have to return some videotapes...
Hello and welcome back to another awesome episode of First Take Film Club. This week, Liam, Luke and Connor talk all things 12 Angry Men, the directorial debut from acclaimed American filmmaker Sidney Lumet.
We recently celebrated our 2-year anniversary and for all of those that listen, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
On this week's episode, the boys talk all things Slumdog Millionaire, the Oscar-winning classic from Danny Boyle!
Unfortunately Luke couldn't make it this week so it was down to Liam and Connor to pick apart and discuss this movie and they did just that, talking about the best scenes, filmmaking techniques and stand-out moments. Not to mention giving their respective popcorns, it's a great episode if we say so ourselves.
We loved this film and want to know what you think, so feel free to get in touch with us @FirstTakePod on Twitter and Instagram and let us know!
Until next week, ta! x
Welcome back listener to episode 64 of the First Take Film Club podcast. In this week's episode we talk about George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road. Considered one of modern-day cinema's great action movies, we dive into this episode all-guns-blazing as we hear what Luke thought on his first watch.
As always, follow us on socials - @firsttakepod on twitter and Instagram.
"Lies, deceit, mixed messages... this is turning into a real..." podcast
Boy, oh boy is this a great episode - the gang kick back and talk all things Face/Off, John Woo's cult-classic action movie! This movie really lived up to our expectations and we had a BLAST recording this episode. Give it a listen, share it with your pals and get in touch with us @FirstTakePod.
