Welcome back to First Time Donor! For this month's episode, we continue the discussion on the HUB format with one of our international attendees, Ynkebour. She shares many insights for planning cross-continental charity incentives that many of us, especially located within the continental United States, may not have considered.
Welcome to First Time Donor - in this episode, we talk all things Zeldathon Ascent and are joined by two team members and HUB hosts, Jamie and Maeve. For those unaware, the hub format was developed as a middle point between a full on, in-person event and a remote event by using several locations as regional hubs of much smaller bubbles of attendees who took turns hosting the event. This episode, Monika and AJ discuss all things VGM Together with two of the events directors, Nujjj and Doug Perry! VGM Together was an all-virtual event put together in the absence of MAGFest earlier this year, and featured artists and musicians such as StringPlayerGamer, Aeoxis, Lacey Johmson, the Baltimore Gamer Symphony Orchestra and more. They share many valuable insights into both the logistics and technical sides of putting together an event of that scale, much of which took place in VRChat!
