With both of us loving the new Lanterns series, we thought there was no better time to go back and see how Ryan Reynolds’ first attempt at bringing Hal Jordan to the big screen holds up all these years later. Julian is a huge Ryan Reynolds fan, while Zander has some mixed feelings, giving us plenty to debate as we break down the movie’s wild CGI, questionable choices, surprisingly cool Green Lantern lore, and the moments that are so ridiculous they somehow become entertaining.
