Using the music of Boston-based quartet Darlingside, we will consider what it might mean to "Look up and fly away," as one of their songs encourages. These words are optimistic, hopful, and freeing. Yet why is it that when we look to follow our bliss and pursue our passions, there is so much difficulty, challenge, and discomfort? In the many transitions of life, how might we consider the unexpected challenges as opportunities? How might we move into unknown future's with confidence in the decisions we make in the present? What might it look like to "catch some light" and to "look up and fly away?"
