A sermon series on being an externally focused church. Jesus blew away people’s expectations by returning from the dead. And when Jesus did return from the dead, Jesus did not wait for people to come to Him but He went and found them… showing up in the most unexpected of places! Jesus met people where they were at, on their turf, and touched their lives in a very personal way. Has the church lost this ability to go out and meet people where they are at? Has the church become so focused on looking at itself that it has forgotten how to look OUT? In a culture obsessed with navel gazing, we as followers of Christ have an opportunity to LOOK OUT to the world around us (instead of IN to ourselves) and touch the lives of our neighbors and our community by meeting them on their terms and serving them where they are at… so that people can once again experience the living presence of Jesus Christ.

We will journey with Christ during the last 24 hours of His life. Each week leading up to the Resurrection we will examine one of the last 6 major events of Jesus’ final day on earth. Beginning with the Last supper and culminating in the death of Christ upon the Cross we will take an indepth look at the final events of Jesus’ life and how those events demonstrated the depth of love and commitment of God to us. This series will be intense as we realize this one life forever changed the trajectory of how the universe works. Join us as we walk through the most dramatic 24 hours the world has ever known.
